i make films, music, and one small child. my specialty involves watching things explode for the big screen.
i started my career editing and handling physical film and have grown with the technology to transition my field from entirely analog to completely digital. in an effort to preserve some of the Old Knowledge, i’ve started documenting the history and use of analog motion picture editing gear. i also write about the women editors who were pioneers in film editing.
